What is Curiosity Cabinet?
Curiosity Cabinet is a five-day pop-up exhibition of invented creatures, peculiar artefacts, and the curious mechanisms and customs that surround them. It is a gathering of objects that feel delightfully out of place, as if they’ve snuck in through a crack in the world and decided to stay.
Think pocket-sized familiars, fossilised beasts, charms, rings, tools, bones, and steampunk mechanisms. Each piece hints at a story, a use, or a creature long forgotten. The exhibition imagines fleeting portals once opening and artist-explorers collecting fragments that slipped through.
What remains is a playful archive of strange worlds, fragments, relics, and wonders waiting to be discovered.

Who we Are
Curiosity Cabinet brings together five artists working across ceramics, sculpture, illustration, and jewellery. Though our disciplines differ, we share a love of storytelling through objects and a curiosity for imagined worlds. Each artist creates works that feel gathered rather than made, as if discovered, traded, or unearthed.
Individually, the pieces offer glimpses into unfamiliar places; together, they form a playful and cohesive collection of strange artefacts and invented histories. United by curiosity and craft, we invite viewers to slow down, look closely, and imagine where these objects might have come from and what they were once used for.
